As much as we like to think the recent trend of remakes is a new thing, film history is filled with new versions of old classics, whether it’s an adaptation of a work that’s shown up before or a re-imagining of a big screen tale. Certainly they have become more abundant in recent years, but they aren’t precisely a new invention. So, what are your favorite remakes?
