Preview: 2 Days in Paris (2007)

Review:

What a jumble of displeasing colors. The chaotic nature of the background may fit well into the chaotic nature of the film's plot, but it really doesn't work well with Julie Delpy's blonde hair, which only helps to unbalance the poster towards the title end.

Review:

Although the film looks significantly like Annie Hall, there may be enough differences to set the film apart. Delpy and Adam Goldberg fit well together from the looks of the preview and that can only help to prove Delpy can direct herself.

Oscar Prospects:

I'm not certain it's going to be an Oscar contender, but Delpy could easily earn her second Oscar nomination for the script. It's off-beat enough to make an impact with the more artistic-minded Writers Branch of the Academy.
