I am unimpressed with the poster. There is little substance to it and only barely engages emotional responses and probably the wrong ones.
Parker Posey is a competent actress, more so than many these days. However, yet another Paris-set film this year could be overkill. This might be a successful one, but I'm sensing a brief art-circuit run and some critical praise to Posey and that wil be the end of it.
Oscar has never taken Posey seriously and I don't see this as the vehicle that takes her there. The battlefield of strong women's roles will be littered with corpses when Oscar is forced to select only five.
I have not seen this film.
