Review:

One of the year's least appealing posters is for a sequel that is supremely ill-conceived. Cuba Gooding Jr.'s mug doesn't help matters in, making the film seem more like a retread than a fresh vision. And that's just from one look at the poster.

Review:

Blend one part Meatballs, one part Earnest Goes to Camp, a smattering of Addams Family Values and melt in the original Daddy Day Care and you have an ill-conceived mess that should fail more significantly than the summer's triptych of pre-sold trilogy-enders.

Oscar Prospects:

No Daddy Day Care at the Oscars, no sequel at the Oscars.
