An actual setting as a backdrop. Perhaps the chaotic nature of the colors in the background are intended to balance the chaoticness of the players. EIther way, it doesn't come off as well as it could have, though must give it credit for the nice shade of yellow used for the words.
Is this some pseudo-inspirational/enlightenment flick? That's what it looks like, but the ineptitude of the characters shatters any potential for self-importance. I can't say there's much here that intrigues me.
Wes Anderson is not Academy friendly. His films tend to earn gravitas from film critics, but the Academy still doesn't get his brand of humor. I don't forsee this pic earning him that attention.
I have not seen this film.
