This is the kind of poster that ooks somewhat ridiculousbecause of the splash of red colors accented on the black-and-white background. Perhaps if there were more depth to the background, the foreground wouldn't pop too much.

Review:

This horror-thriller hybrid looks like a twist on the Rear Window plot. It may be good, but it's more likely to be bad as it's being packaged for the teen audience without regard to older viewers. Without that cross-demographic, this looks to be another Skulls-type failure.

Oscar Prospects:

There's that magic word: Horror. It can conjure up box office and screams but it can't conjure up Oscar recognition.
