The typical romantic poster featuring strips of film images of the various coupls of the film. There's nothing original or interesting in this poster, though it is a bit crisper than other posters being released this year.
One of these days, I'll stop giving grades to posters that are so obviously place holders. In the meantime, I'll continue to degrade them for their lack of originality, boorish colors and disinteresting styles. Feast of Love deserves such condemnation.
The trailer has a bit of a humorous element to it and while there aren't enough laughs to really reach out at an audience, we're given some rather winning dialogue from narrating kind Morgan Freeman (is there a film in which he doesn't feature this year?).
It's not a strong year for men, so Greg Kinnear could be a left field contender. Jane Alexander looks like she's got a rather unimpressive role, so a late-career nod for her doesn't seem likely and Freeman's got other chances this year.
I have not seen this film.
