Review:

The poster is cluttered despite depicting only one face. Jim Carrey's mug is obviously positioned to bring the most of his fans to the film as possible. The problem is the subject matter won't appeal to them and this poster doesn't do anything to assuage that issue.

Review:

What seems like an intriguing premise could just be another rehash of Stigmata and its ilk. In the hands of director Joel Schumacher, the premise is likely to be wasted. Too bad Carrey can't pick better films.

Oscar Prospects:

Carrey won't be picking up an Oscar nomination anytime soon. Although Robin Williams gave an outstanding performance in One Hour Photo, the Academy didn't want to recognize such a dark role for a comedian. The same will apply here.
