I'm surprised with the focus on bumpkins in the trailer that the poster would be a feel a bit more rural. Instead, they go for a paired character shot against a faux city backdrop. The setting is every bit as uninteresting as the trailer itself.
You get to a point when you must ask "why even bother?" This movie looks more like a National Lampoon's spoof than a serio-comic farce. The stereotypical queeny homosexual character is overbearing and the "down home" ignorance of the rest of the characters just screams to be put down.
The mob may be big at the Oscars, but not like this. Put a cap in its ass and dump it in the east river.
I have not seen this film.
