Review:

The trailer is stunning to watch. Gorgeous cinematography and art direction, Saawariya's trailer's one fault is that you don't know very much about the story. Although it looks very much like a Bollywood musical, there isn't any major musical queues to fill you in on that detail.

Oscar Prospects:

If there were any justice, the film would be nominated for Cinematography and Art Direction, but I'm very doubtful it will considering how few Bollywood musicals have ever had an impact at the Oscars...none to my recollection, though Moulin Rouge has some similar stylistic elements.
