There's no business like show business and this documentary knows it. Using the art work for the four shows its covers is to be expected but the layout is at least fitting.
Highlighting the season Avenue Q topped Wicked at the Tony's, Show Business doesn't seem to give much hint as to what revelatory experience we'll find watching that season play out. If the trailer is any indication, the behind-the-scenes action may be enough to sustain the project.
The production doesn't look political enough to make it through the first-round elimination of the Documentary Branch. If it makes it through, it could be nominated, but since those chances are slim, a victory is far from likely.
I have not seen this film.
