I simply don't get the purpose of this poster. Put the two awkward leads staring dumbfounded at the camera on a washed-out background and add a title. Maybe that's the point? Make the poster look as unappealing as the film is likely to be. But I don't really think that's what they had hoped we'd take from it.
The film celebrates its parentage (40-Year Old Virgin and Talladega Nights), but there's little reason after this preview to do such. Embarrassingly little good humor points to a film that's either A) even more lacking or B) that's far more outrageously funny. I don't see any option other than A.
With not even a customary comedy screenplay nod for Judd Apatow's previously produced films, there's not a shot for this pic.
I have not seen this film.
