Review:

After all of the films about the struggles of African Americans in gangland, we finally get a serious depiction of Hispanic issues. Although the preview isn't the best, there are some interesting aspects but the emphasis on violence may be detrimental.

Oscar Prospects:

It's highly unlikely that this kind of film will earn Oscar attention as few other similarly-themed movies have broken the Golden Ceiling.
