Review:

This poster does virtually nothing for the film except make it look a bit stupid. The stacking of hand-drawn versions of characters in the film only slightly offsets the lead's live-action form.

Review:

With the talented Peter Sarsgaard and Laura Dern as part of the cast, part of me is interested in seeing the film. It also seems like the kind of film that pet lovers can find a great deal of charm and wit in.

Oscar Prospects:

It's a slight comedy that doesn't look terribly glossy, so the Academy isn't likely to recognize the film come Oscar time.
