Preview: Snow Angels (2008)

Review:

They aren't making snow angels in the poster, which probably would have been rather silly, but the poster is stark and bitter like the winter's chill, which is what they're going for. It also has fantastic composition and balance.

• Trailer: C+

Review:

It looks like every other child-gone-missing story produced and is filled with mostly second-billed actors. The trailer screams pseudo-twist and doesn't promise anything original or exceptional.

Oscar Prospects:

The film will get lost in the post-Oscars slump as it competes with Oscar winners for box office. Those films don't tend to fare well with the Academy.
