The obsession with animated backgrounds with live action foregrounds is mystifying. Here's yet another example of how the formula doesn't work and how it doesn't provide the kind of engrossment most posters would want.

A rather lackluster road trip comedy featuring characters that aren't terribly memorable and a premise that seems a bit far-fetched. And that's the impression just from this trailer.

Oscar Prospects:

Too early and too loopy for Oscar consideration.
