The trend of imposing indiidual images on a separate larger image seems to be grabbing hold of the movie industry. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't and this is a perfect example of when it doesn't. The colors don't blend well together and the butterfly sticks out unncessarily.
They've been making these kinds of films for years, but after Crash won the Oscar for Best Picture, it's not surprising how similar they are becoming to one another. The Air I Breathe certainly looks identical in style and theme.
Thankfully, the film opens early, which means its Oscar chances are virtually non-existent.
I have not seen this film.
