Why they had to do an Animal House-style hand-drawn poster is a mystery. It's not terribly engaging and it seems to make light of the film's subjects, which may be ok, it's just not that interesting.

Review:

That the documentarians referenced World of Warcraft (WoW) in the trailer as the inspiration for this LARP (Live Action Role PLaying) either suggests a significant misunderstanding of the origins and purpose of LARP or that this specific incarnation of the LARP was started based on the popularity of WoW, but their descriptions of monsters and events are a far cry from what is contained within WoW.

Oscar Prospects:

I don't really see this film making waves at the Oscars. It's just too deeply rooted in popular culture to be of any interest to serious documentarians.
