Review:

It's a little too simplistic and a little too obvious. There are probably many more compelling choices of framing and situation, but this is all they could come up with apparently.

Review:

Considering the length of the film, which at the end is revealed to be getting a full two-part roll out next year, it's not surprising that the epic nature of the film comes out in the trailer as it seems to go on far longer than seems necessary and presents far fewer interesting moments than one would expect.

Oscar Prospects:

There was a time when I would have said this would be a contender, but it's gotten fewer notices than expected and buzz has been virtually non-existent for the film. Benicio Del Toro faces a large amount of competition for Best Actor, which could be the film's best chance outside of the tech categories.
