Taking one of the photos shown in the trailer and turning it into a black-and-white drawing isn't terribly exciting and the yellow background is little if not distracting.
This concept seems better suited for a big screen feature, not a documentary. Using archive footage and live shots may work well in documentary design, but what's shown in the trailer isn't terribly engaging and the 6 subjects being shown in quick torn-strip succession seems out of tone to the entire trailer.
No more likely to earn a documentary nomination than any other documentary this year, which means it's likely to be forgotten.
I have not seen this film.
