Review:

If it weren't being released in May, I'd say they were shooting for an Oscar run. However, as it stands, this war-time film about children making a trek through the mountains fleeing from conscription seems like a blatant attempt at tugging heartstrings. The entire layout of the trailer suggests that it's not going to be a film of much substance and most of that substance will be verging on hollow.

Oscar Prospects:

Too early in the year to release an Oscar contender, so I'm very doubtful this film will be anything of a contender.
