Other than the interesting gimmick of using the sideview mirror to cature the film's characters, there isn't anything very original in the poster. I can't even see any appreciable symbolism, which doesn't assist in selling the film.
The interest in this film would be similar to that I had for Stop-Loss. It appears to be a tearjerking kind of movie that explores real problems that are often ignored. But, it's also the kind of film that could end up being too sappy for its own good.
It looks like an emotional film, but it's not the kind of film Oscar voters get behind, especially with a late September release. However, it would be nice for the best part of the disappointing Crash to get some recognition for his solid work: Michael Pena.
I have not seen this film.
