Review:

How this poster has much to do with the film, I don't know. The trailer goes to great lengths to keep the film's secret but this poster suggests some bizarre Pan's Labyrinth creation might be behind the whole thing. Although it's an interesting design, there's nothing exceptional here.

Review:

It's The Ring with a cell phone. While the premise isn't exactly identical, there are more irritating similarties to the other Asian-to-English remake, there are also some disturbing Final Destination comparisons that could be made. Either way, it's not likely to be much more than a The Ring 2-type dud.

Oscar Prospects:

No Oscars for remakes or for horror, so this one has doubly shot itself in the foot.
