Review:

The trailer is so quickly paced that it's hard, and oftentimes confusing, to understand what the plot of the film is. Is this a film about ending the violence of youths in the streets or is it about furthering that violence. Sean Penn seems oddly out of place, but no more than Bob Hoskins.

Oscar Prospects:

Late-year release may mean the producers think they can earn Hoskins or Bean some Oscar attention, but the film seems like the kind of film the Academy tends to ignore.
