The attempt of the poster's designers to create a visual dichotomy between drama and humor doesn't work as well as they'd hope. The poster is a bit too dark and the stills at the bottom only serve to distract from the flow of the rest of the poster.
This second poster is much more in line with the film's theme. It's not the most spectacular poster, but it effectively sets up the aggressiveness of the lead character and the outlandishness of his attitude, thus capturing the essence of the film's comic base.
As the trailer begins, you aren't certain what to expect, but this situational comedy gets going fairly quickly and ends with a shocking, but extremely humorous bit. It's also a welcome sight to find a comedy about and by Chinese-Americans getting a solid push even if the film won't likely be that great.
None.
I have not seen this film.
