Review:

While the poster does suggest the film is about a positive portrayal of American immigrants succeeding in life, the poster is a bit overzealous. But since the film is called Proud American, I guess it makes perfect sense.

Review:

While a couple of the stories look like they might be interesting, the cheesy acting and overabundance of face-smacking patriotism makes the film seem less like a serious drama and more like propoganda.

Oscar Prospects:

The Academy doesn't always go for the flag-waving patriotism films unless they have some real conflicts and this one seems too neatly and perfectly packaged to earn favor with Oscar.
