When paired with a review of the trailer, the poster has symbolic resonance. When taken separately, viewers might get the impression that this is some kind of bizarre foreign language film, which is a tack that isn't likely to draw an audience.

Review:

There's something inherently intriguing about this film. While it appears on the surface to be just another generic suspense yarn, there are kernels of inspiration within and the entire concept is a novel for the genre. It could be an interesting film.

Oscar Prospects:

No matter how interesting, there is no way this film will set foot near the red carpet.
