Review:

The poster's quiet and simple. It uses muted colors to hide the people in the life of the lead character who holds the bomb that could destroy his own destiny. The poster is fitting when paired with the trailer.

Review:

There's something resonant about this film. Perhaps it's the performance of Christian Slater who seems to have all but disappeared from film. This looks like just the kind of film that could earn him praise. Its similarities in visual style to films like Across the Universe may help it catch on with a niche crowd, but hopefully Slater will merit some attention if he's as good as the preview suggests he might be.

Oscar Prospects:

I'm not hopeful with the film releasing before the 2007 Oscar nominations even come out. Had it released later in the year, then I might have given Slater a chance, but as it stands, I don't think it will happen.
