The poster is reminiscent of the disaster flicks of the 1970s, which may not entirely be their intention.
This big screen exploration of the WTO riots in Seattle seems like a noble pursuit and the trailer is riveting quite often, but when you see director Stuart Townsend's name attached, you immediately wonder how he's going to deliver something other than crap like Aeon Flux and The League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.
This could be Townsend's big break, but it could also be a colossal failure. While not a blip on Oscar's radar yet, it could very well be if it turns out to be as evocative and challenging as the trailer suggests.
I have not seen this film.
