Preview: Sex Drive (2008)

Review:

While fitting perfectly with the title of the film, the poster seems to have very little to do with it. Its ties are purely metaphorical, which makes it a more compelling poster than many posters for similarly-themed films of late.

The most recent poster of the film takes a scene featured in the trailer and puts it front-and-center on the poster. Certainly less inventive than the first, this new poster might even be less fitting to the picture. Now, looking back at the first poster, it's clear the former has more in common with the film than the latter.

Review:

The movie itself, however, doesn't look terribly good. It's your typical pubescent sex comedy and we've had many of those. Some were done well. Some were not. This looks like it might fit in that latter category.
