Your typical fantasy poster. It's been used for Star Wars, Lord of the Rings and many other pictures set in a fantastical world. Not very impressive, nor interesting.

Review:

I don't know that there's a schlockier director working today. How he came to hold the reins of a video game adaptation, I'll never know, but fans of the game aren't likely to be impressed with the film unless they like mindless action and bad acting, which, come to think of it, most of them probably do. It looks like a basic knock-off of The Lord of the Rings and Eragon.

Oscar Prospects:

No Academy Awards for the director of BloodRayne or any aspect of his film.
