Hoping to sell itself on the 70s-kitsch of recent years, the poster epitomizes the style, but hardly provides any new visual commentary. It's rather plain and not as colorfully vivid as it could have been.
When citing Oscar-friendly comedies of the last decade, it's best if the preview doesn't look like a bargain-basement version of them. There is nothing very funny in this trailer and I can't say that it looks terribly amusing. Since it's directed by the same guy who did Leonard Part 6, City Slickers II and Made of Honor, I think it's safe to assume that even a literate script wouldn't make it out alive.
