Review:

The blue and white color scheme is a bit too distracting. Jackson and Mac's facial expressions fit perfectly with their characters, but there just isn't anything too flash or noteworthy here.

Review:

While the concept seems a bit stiff, there are a few moments in the trailer, thanks mostly to the late Bernie Mac, that make it seem like it could be an entertaining film. However, there are also a significant number of "what the..." moments.

Oscar Prospects:

Unless the film is more serio- than -comedy, Oscar won't pay much attention. Proof is in the Blues Brothers' pudding.
