As insipid and uninspiring as the film's trailer, this poster seems to conjure up images of several failed romantic dramas of the past.

Review:

Ellen Burstyn, who has proven in recent years that she has a supreme talent, doesn't seem to be picking the right films. This lazy production that shares similarities to last year's The Savages lacks the comedy that made that film only a marginal independent success. This seems just like the kind of film that flops quickly and the flops again on video.

Oscar Prospects:

Burstyn's not getting another nomination for work like this.
