Review:

There is little explanation to what the symbolism of the poster means. The trailer doesn't once talk about goats in trees, so it's bizarre that this is the centerpiece of the poster. It may have some meaning to surfers, the film's target audience, but to the rest of the world, it's a bit of a mystery.

Review:

It's almost like a stoner comedy set on the ocean front. There's very little of redeeming value in the trailer and that mostly comes from Woody Harrelson, not the film's star Matthew McConaughey.

Oscar Prospects:

I can't fathom a situation where a film like this would earn Oscar attention.
