Fitting the style of the trailer itself, the poster is plain in concept, but rich in subtext and symbolism. Not that it's a great poster, but it certainly improves upon the trailer.
While Hollywood has never failed to re-use concepts and ideas, each film tries to blend the past with a current and relevant subject. This film doesn't seem to do that, at least not by what's presented on the screen. It may tell a tale from a differing perspective, but it doesn't seem to show a lot of creativity.
I can't foresee an Oscar nomiantion for the film. It might earn a copy of nominations from the Spirit awards or some festival, but Oscar won't be kind.
I have not seen this film.
