The MPAA said the poster was inappropriate for children. That may be, but seldom has there been a more evocative and effective poster. Soldiers escorting a hooded man while in their shadows is the symbol of the country they represent. It's perfectly fitting and poetic.
Any documentary that exposes the inhumane treatment of political prisoners by the present administration deserves high praise. I'm not a huge fan of documentaries, but this one seems like one I could really appreciate if I had the chance to see it.
Although it releases nationally in 2007, it's a nominee this year for the Academy Award for Best Documentary. I don't know if it can win against the likes of No End in Sight, Sicko or War/Dance, but it certainly could have a shot.
I have not seen this film.
