In a reverse of this week's other partly-drawn background, this one puts the artwork in the back and the reality in the front. It doesn't try to mask itself, which is fine and putting the subjects of the film on the front certainly plays well for the film, but it's not terribly memorable otherwise.
Another documentary about the teen experience, growing up through high school. It seems like a number of filmmakers are trying to recapture their lost school daze by reflecting on those who are experiencing it presently. This trailer doesn't promise too much but a pretty typical character study about the positives and negatives of growing up in America.
A bit too uncontroversial to be an Oscar contender, but that could be just what the Academy ordered.
I have not seen this film.
