The true poster artists may have given up hope as this new batch of posters seems horrendously bland. This one in particular does very little to evoke a sense of enticement and while it may draw in young teens, it isn't likely to appeal to adult moviegoers, especially not with a poster like this.
There is virtually nothing unusual about this trailer. Supposedly the internet is abuzz about this love story, but it certainly looks no better or worse than The Covenant or any other supernatural film.
As I had expected, this "supernatural" film about vampire-like creatures looks about as bad as The Covenant. This full theatrical trailer reveals the plot of the film, but the bland and uneven performances don't embellish what is already a pretty insignificant story.
Much to my chagrin, this new trailer does make the film look a lot more interesting. While the vampire feuding has featured prominently in other films, this one at least looks like it's emotionally more validating.
Without critical support, a film like this won't make it very far, though it's late-year release may mean something, but not likely anything to Oscar voters.
I have not seen this film.
