Review:

The foreground image is far too large, making the framed background too insignificant. Symbolically, that might be appropriate, but it makes the passion of the poster seem a bit distant as the colors in the foreground a tad melancholy.

Review:

It's a very unusual decision to blend an anti-apartheid story with a lesbian love affair. That alone makes it more interesting than a lot of other films currently in circulation, but also one that won't appeal to too many audiences.

Oscar Prospects:

There's really only one place open for a gay-themed film and that appears to be Milk.
