Review:

In the electronic age, it's not hard to find the premise so appealing. I'm quite interested in catching the film, though not likely until it hits DVD. There's a certain Without a Trace/Numbers/CSI quality to the preview that I probably won't expect much more than TV-grade suspense.

Oscar Prospects:

The earlier they release, the less likely they are to be remembered. Even Jodie Foster's Flightplan was released later in the year and it didn't figure well for Foster. However, there are some similarities in plotting to The Silence of the Lambs, so if the film can turn out that kind of quality, it might be remembered next year.
