The poster is evocative in that it is perfectly capsulating of the trailer. It's a strange, idiosyncratic film and the poster is entirely fitting.
This film looks irritating. It appears to be a Fellini-esque journey into the filmmaker's life and childhood in the titular Winnipeg. It's an abstract piece that won't easily appeal to mainstream audiences and even some film critics might be turned off.
It's a bit far out there and unless late-breaking Oscar contenders fall by the wayside, even a screenplay nomination will be out of the question.
I have not seen this film.
