A young man learns of life and love at the hands of a young woman who doesn't believe true love exists.
It's bright like a Summer's day and with Joseph Gordon Leavitt doodling, we are to assume that the multitude of images of his love interest in the film dominating the mosaic of images in the rest of the poster is exemplifying of Leavitt's emotional state. It works better than it should, but it won't be easily understood.
Joseph Gordon Leavitt is one of those actors whose film choices are inspiring and original. He hasn't followed the teen heartthrob path of his contemporaries and seems to choose films that make sense to him as an artist and not as a moneymaker. This doesn't look like it will be that great of a film, but it's charms are increased by Leavitt's presence.
One of these days, Leavitt's going to be a keen Oscar contender, but I doubt it will be for this film.
I have not seen this film.
