Preview: Alien Trespass (2009)

Synopsis:

Citizens of a small town have their lives upended by the crash landing of a alien spacecraft in the 1950s.

Review:

The poster is as corny as the trailer, which is good for drawing an audience. It even takes aim at continuing its homage to schlocky alien features of the fifties by using a similar design on the poster.

• Trailer: B-

Review:

This film knows it's cheesey as hell and revels in that. Looking like something Ed Wood might have created, the film looks like it could be an absolute hoot at once paying homage and ridiculing it based genre.

Oscar Prospects:

I doubt it will earn any Oscar respect since it is an homage/spoof, but stranger things have happened.

Not nearly as awful as it could have been...it at least knows that it's cheesy, which makes it more fun.
