An eccentric woman follows the man she believes to be her one true love, a CNN cameraman, across the country trying to convince him they belong together.
Fairly typical of your comedy poster. Sandra Bullock looks exceptionally idiotic and the three onlookers, including an unecessary Asian man, just feels rather unnecessary and decidedly un-funny.
Borrowing a title from a film about the backstabbing theatre biz is a bit ill-suited for a relationship comedy. The trailer suggests that this film isn't all about Steve. It's all about Sandra Bullock who seems to be returning to her comic roots here. She's a bit out there in terms of style, but she still exudes a charm that many of her fellow actresses (such as Reese Witherspoon) sometimes lack. While I get the impression the movie won't be that great, I couldn't help but laugh a couple of times, especially at the final scene.
Like the references Miss Congeniality, this movie isn't designed for the Oscars. It's designed to bring in money and it should do just that.
I have not seen this film.
