Lars von Trier's controversial film about a couple who retreat to the woods in an attempt to save their marriage, but end up finding something far worse within themselves and each other.
Taking the final scene of the trailer isn't always the best idea and there really seems no earthly reason to choose this one image except that it could develop some amount of controversy, title alone. So perhaps that was their intention.
While the story does have some interesting elements, what is most impressive is the cinematography. Few trailers are so rich and detailed that you feel an intense emotional connection even in spite of the subject of the film.
Lars von Trier isn't exactly animal friendly and the Academy won't want to court controversy even with their new 10-Best-Picture-Nomination setup.
I have not seen this film.
