A wealthy housewives finds herself drawn towards a homeless kid hoping to give him a life he might never have otherwise.
It's nice to see the producers aren't trying to sell the film on Sandra Bullock's image. Instead, they are hoping for the more inspiration image of the hulking football ingenue next to the petite southern belle walking into the dawn to sell tickets.
This type of inspirational film will likely pull the right heartstrings, say the most saddening things and be quite popular thanks to Sandra Bullock who looks absolutely at home in her motherly role.
I still don't think it's Bullock's time, but more films that aren't comedies or a bit off the wall, might help her get Oscar attention some day. I don't think this will be the vehicle.
If Sandra Bullock weren't already a star, a star-making turn this would be.
