Synopsis:

A blind writer leaves his tragic past behind only to relive it when a young man questions him about the name he once answered to.

Review:

It reminds me a bit of the foreign feature posters of the '60s and evokes a strong sense of that period. However, it is otherwise inexpressive and passionless.

Review:

Reading the plot summary, it's hard to imagine how the concept can be easily woven into a trailer that entices people to watch it. This trailer at once fails and succeeds. Where it fails is in capturing the essence of the story. Where it succeeds is in making the film seem like a different movie altogether, but one which people might actually want to see.

Oscar Prospects:

It was not submitted for the Foreign Language Film Oscar, but there will likely be a few pushes for Director, Original Screenplay and Actress.
