Wanting to make a name for himself, a young hoodlum robs a back and is sentenced to 7 years in prison. Instead, he spends 34 years there, 30 in solitary, only to discover his internal alter ego named Charles Bronson.
Lacking in imagination, color, design or any other tantalizing element that usually accompanies posters, it does have enough to say about celebrity culture, which the film purportedly exmines, that it works suitably well.
This bizarre film looks more interesting than I would have imagined considering the title and the poster. The mental acrobatics of the subject, imagining a sensational life, are inviting.
I highly doubt this will earn Oscar nominations.
I have not seen this film.
