Jouranlits secretly record the dark side of Burma where the military oppresses the people, but the peole are perfectly willing to stand up againstthem in protest.

Review:

Why the camcorder has an alternate image, one that does seem like it's as important to what's going on in the rest of the poster, I'm not certain. The long line of orange-robed monks is a somewhat evocative image pulled directly from the documentary.

• Trailer: B+

Review:

The images are certainly arresting, the story is relevant and the documentary feels important.

Oscar Prospects:

I could see this documentary doing quite well. It's about forbidden journalism and the documenting of harsh tactics used against regular people who oppose their government. It could be the perfect statement for the Academy to make.
